Twan Ransijn - Drums

Twan gives drum lessons at Music For Life. Twan (2004) comes from Alkmaar and started playing drums at a young age. It soon became apparent that this was his great passion. In 2021, Twan started the Junior Jazz College. This is a young talent course at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, specifically aimed at young people who love jazz and intended as preparation for the bachelor's degree. Here Twan was taught by people such as Bernard van Rossum, Yoràn Vroom, Simon Rigter, Joost Lijbaart, etc.After completing high school, he auditioned for the bachelor’s program in jazz drums in 2023 and has since been studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He also performs with various bands. Under his own name or under someone else’s, he is a performing musician and is building his career.
